Lynk & Co unveiled its 10 and 10+ electric sedans on April 7, 2026, with the performance-focused 10+ claiming the top position on the Asian Mountain Ridge Circuit leaderboard — recording a lap time of 1 minute 40.14 seconds to displace the Porsche (XETRA: PAH3) Taycan GT's benchmark that had stood for nine months.

The Asian Mountain Ridge Circuit is a 2.42 km (1.5 miles) mountain road course featuring 31 consecutive corners and a 71-meter vertical drop, widely used in China as a real-world performance benchmark.

The 2024 Porsche Taycan GT with Weissach Package previously held the record at 1:40.16, set in 29.4°C sunny conditions. The 2026 Lynk & Co 10+ with Racing Package completed its run in 19.7°C partly cloudy weather, winning by 0.02 seconds.

The lap was announced at the Lynk & Co 10+ and Lynk & Co 10 Global Premiere and Three-Electric Technology Launch Event, held on April 7, 2026 at 19:00 China time.

The full mountain road lap time leaderboard now places the 10+ first at 1:40.14, followed by the Taycan GT at 1:40.16 and XPeng's (NYSE: XPEV) P7 750 AWD Ultra at 1:40.78. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra sits fourth at 1:42.74, with the 2021 Lotus Emira I4 and 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera rounding out the top ten.

Geely Auto Group (HKEX: 0175), which jointly owns Lynk & Co alongside Volvo Cars, has built the brand's identity around motorsport — including multi-year campaigns in the FIA WTCR series with the 03+ model.

The 10+ is built on a 900V high-voltage architecture with front and rear dual motors producing a combined 680kW (925 Ps). The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and covers the 80 to 120 km/h increment in 2.5 seconds.

At the core of the system sits what Lynk & Co says is the world's first 1,400V silicon carbide inverter, paired with a motor producing 370kW peak output and a power density of 5kW/kg. The motor casing is made from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, trimming 30% of the weight versus conventional housings. Wheel-end torque reaches 5,200 N·m and the overall drivetrain efficiency rating is 93.7%.

Lynk & Co demonstrated 100 consecutive full-throttle accelerations at the event, claiming no thermal degradation or power loss across the entire sequence. The coaxial drive layout eliminates mechanical detours in power delivery, with the G-TCS traction control system intervening in 2 milliseconds and a launch mode response time of 10 milliseconds.

Visually, the 10+ receives an exclusive paint called Race Shadow Blue, developed with a multi-layer crystal pearlescent process that the company says delivers 3 to 5 times greater light shimmer than standard finishes. Optional performance hardware includes an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, yellow four-piston fixed brake calipers, and 21-inch Lingfeng forged wheels.

The standard Lynk & Co 10 targets charging speed rather than lap times. The model claims a maximum CLTC range of 816 km (507 miles) and charges from 10% to 70% state of charge in 4 minutes 22 seconds, or from 10% to 97% in 8 minutes 43 seconds — a rate Lynk & Co markets as "1 second of charging equals 2 km of range."

The battery, branded the Aegis Gold Brick Battery, uses a five-stage thermal-electric isolation system and continuous cloud monitoring. It shares the 900V magnesium alloy electric drive unit and 1,400V SiC inverter of the 10+.

Lynk & Co said the 10+ is expected to reach customers in the second quarter of 2026. Pricing for neither model was disclosed at the premiere. Whether the standard 10's sub-nine-minute full-charge claim holds up against BYD's (HKG: 1211) latest ultra-fast charging systems under real-world conditions may prove harder to resolve than a mountain circuit leaderboard.
